Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using NurseX, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use NurseX.

Who can use NurseX

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission. NurseX is currently in a private beta, so accounts are by invitation only.

Educational use only

• NurseX content (practice questions, rationales, flashcards, clinical simulations, study plans, and tutor answers) is for studying. It may contain mistakes or become out of date.
• Talk to My Tutor is automated. Its answers can be wrong, so check important facts against your course materials.
• NurseX does not guarantee any exam result, grade, or licensure outcome.
• NCLEX is a registered trademark of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. (NCSBN). NurseX is not affiliated with or endorsed by NCSBN or any nursing school.

Your account

• Keep your password private and your account details accurate.
• One account per person. Don't share your account.
• You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else is using it.

Free trial and Premium

The Free plan is a limited trial: each feature has a set allowance (for example, a number of tutor messages and practice questions) that does not reset. Premium removes those limits and adds features.

Premium is not for sale yet. When it is, the price, billing period, renewal, and cancellation terms will be shown clearly before you pay, and these Terms will be updated to include them.

Using NurseX responsibly

You agree not to:

• Enter information about real patients, or anything that could identify a patient.
• Use NurseX to cheat on graded work or exams, or to break your school's academic integrity rules.
• Harass, threaten, or post hateful, sexual, or illegal content in Study Groups.
• Copy, scrape, resell, or republish NurseX content, or try to get around the Free trial limits.
• Break, overload, reverse engineer, or try to access parts of NurseX you're not allowed to.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your content and ours

You own what you create in NurseX, like your notes and flashcards. You give us permission to store and process it only to run NurseX for you (for example, syncing it to your devices). Messages you post in a Study Group are visible to that group's members.

NurseX's own content, design, and software belong to NurseX. You may use them for your personal studying, but not copy or distribute them.

The beta and changes to NurseX

NurseX is in beta. Features may change, pause, or be removed, and there may be bugs or downtime. We'll do our best to protect your work, but please keep your own copies of anything critical (Settings lets you download your data).

Disclaimers and limits

NurseX is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, NurseX is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50, whichever is greater. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put other users at risk.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, except where your local law says otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Questions go to support@nursex.app.
